SPRING SEMINAR – FEBRUARY 22, 2010
The Spring Seminar will be held at the Horton Grand Hotel in San Diego. Dr. Jerry Chris, former Mission Viejo TOK teacher and author, is the featured speaker. He will talk about "Differentiation, Brain Research and the Learner Profile" which relates to the CAWS 2009-2010 theme of "The IB Vision 2020", new ways of thinking in a new world. His presentation will focus on the Learner Profile as a vibrant set of critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in tomorrow's world. Learn how to actuate it in your courses K-12, and not just see it as words on a document filed away in a notebook. Dr. Chris has prepared activities geared to PYP, MYP, DP teachers. This will be a hands-on conference with breakout sessions and lots of exchange and interchange among teachers. Early registration takes place the evening of the 21st and a special rate for hotel rooms has been designated. Check our website now to register and book your room!
